Decided to finally get around to watching Breaking Bad, got the box set for Christmas, I’m working through the first season now.
Yes, it’s good, like people said. The thing that’s surprising me is how much it resembles Weeds with a genderbent lead - like, “Comfortable suburbanite turns to drug dealing to raise funds in the aftermath of personal tragedy, show relies on lead actor’s ability to use their face to communicate ‘assertive pose masking absolute terror’ as the writers contrive new ways to throw him into jeopardy, also there’s a comic-relief slacker.”
