Hey what's the Bacon Number between Art Spiegelman and Nick "A. Wyatt Mann" Bougas? They gotta have some sort of 80s underground...
I can get to 4 with every member of the cast of the Simpsons episode other than Dan Clowes, Alan Moore, Jimbo, and that Karl Wiedergott guy who does spot voices through both F.A.R.T the Movie and Blood Slaves of the Vampire Wolf, but I just can’t get it to 3. I was sticking to acting roles. Can I use people in his documentaries or depictions of characters or non-video media? If you count the Simpsons as one entity, Art Spiegelman was in the Simpsons with Christina Ricci who was in I woke Up Early the Day I Died with Conrad Brooks who was in Blood Slaves of the Vampire Wolf with Nick Bougas (3). Give me the rules and I’ll make this happen.
I can get it to 4
Art Spiegelman was in an episode of the Simpsons with Dan Castellaneta who was in Superhero Movie with Ryan Hansen who was in Jem and the Holograms with Kesha (no $) who was in F.A.R.T. the movie with Nick Bougas
Hey what’s the Bacon Number between Art Spiegelman and Nick “A. Wyatt Mann” Bougas? They gotta have some sort of 80s underground comix culture link.
I thought about it, and you probably want the link to be both as cartoonists. So, Nick “A. Wyatt Mann” Bougas was in every issue of ANSWER me! (all 4) with Jim Goad who was in Truckers in Denial with Jim Blanchard who was in Mineshaft #24 (maybe other stuff, that was the first I ran into) with Art Spiegelman. If you count blurbs, Goad and Art Spiegelman both blurbbed Ivan Brunetti’s Misery loves Comedy. The trick is Goad straddled the counterculture line between beyond the pale and just mega-icky while Blanchard and Brunetti straddle between mega-icky and NYT acceptable underground. So cartoonist Bacon number 3.
