Well, the flight back to Portland boards at 8 and the San Diego airport seems easy. Gotta factor in time to hector Alaska into paying for my hotel (unfortunately, I don’t think they’d care that much I was spreading the tale of being done dirty on tumblr, and too much pride to make that my first original tweet) but I have the better part of a day to kill. What is there to do in San Diego? Museums? I hear the zoo is good.
A reader in San Diego took me out for drinks and I was like “I recognize this route” and then “I recognize this bar”. I had been exactly there for the It Never Drains In Southern California pinball tournament back when I was in LA. Anyway it was a ton of fun, thank you and and an invitation to all the rest of you to take me out for drinks.
