Huh, just 147 pounds. The guy going up against Sagat and M. Bison and E. Honda and Zangeif. I’ve fought heavier and lighter, more skilled and less skilled, and skill does something, but there’s a reason fighting sports have weight classes. On the other hand, I guess Bruce Lee was only about 140 and all his old opponents freely admit his superiority.

P.S. I played Street Fighter I once, the model with punch pads, in an arcade at Walt Disney World. This was after SFII (maybe even Champion) came out, and it felt weird. I remember preferring Sunset Riders. Didn’t get really into pinball until later.
