Bold of that anon to assume cleaning a house takes less than a year. I started decluttering the summer before COVID, and I'm still doing shit! Granted we moved in in '99 so a lot of it is also remodeling/repairing/painting, but occasionally there is a previously undiscovered closet full of detritus that needs sorting through. it's just how it happens.
Not to be peter thiel but I do think we’ll look back on today’s capture by university (cultural capital source that siphons government and private funds) the way atheists look back on the church in medieval europe.
it’s pretty much continuous, which is part of why i think some trad stuff is silly… like, if you want something like the 1400s church, what you want is a modern university, not the modern catholic church
I haven’t read any good fantasy western books since the 80s (I think I stopped after the “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”? series or something). I’ve mostly read SF stuff, but I’ve gotten back into fantasy recently. If you’re looking for westerns specifically I might be able to suggest stuff?
Catholics and mainline Protestants both do baptism by sprinkling some water on the baby’s forehead, as far as I know. The only people who do full baptism by immersion are baptists and some evangelicals. It’s been a pretty long time since baptism by immersion was done as the general procedure.
Honestly if you get the chance you should really switch from ADHD to autism its a much better disease to have and its currently in vogue wherease adhd is falling off cause its getting annoying 👍
