Aw man with all this testosterone-boosted muscle growth I’ve built a solid vest of muscle about my torso that’s encountering cold air for the first time and contracting to squeeze the rib cage and lungs. Kinda suboptimal.
Standing in my shower relying on warm water to loosen the iron grip of my newly built flank muscles as they encounter cold air for the first time and contract, thinking “after this summer of constantly making my torso sore and too wiped to leave home, just as little as two more years and I can put in a backyard spa!
My stomach’s getting smaller but more noticeably harder recently, which makes me suspect this topsoil pitching is developing my core so that a wall of muscle is firming up behind the fat.
Can’t wait to see it! Just a few months more now…
Unfortunately, with my back muscles developed and holding things in place so pressure isn’t being borne on the synovial fluid between vertebrae I can’t twist and crack my spine anymore. I was big on that one for a while.
Do you ever post progress pictures of yourself from your loses weight and gets built journeys?
I think I’ll at least do one when I hit the middle of “True Normie” state but I kind of like it being just my impressions, if I posted about my experience of living in my body and posted a picture this is the internet, people would argue with my personal experience of my body on the basis of the picture and it would be irritating.

Now that changes to my body are registering clear my subconscious is pumped, it feels my body and it’s amazed how lean and powerful it is, and I’m like “watch what comes next”
When I was first pitching topsoil I had to limit how far I dipped the shovel blade into a pile before rising back because there was a limit to how much I could shove back, but at this point I’m plunging into a full pile until my blade strikes the bedliner and rowing through it like water.
Yeah, intense leg and lower back soreness this rest day (compared to very mild fatigue in the upper body) but not the whole-body wiped effect of before.

For every 2 days of topsoil work I do I need to start taking a scoop of creatine at 9 PM for four whole weeks to supply energy for the muscle growth that ensues
(The issue is really that the energy demand continues even as I sleep so I can’t just let the creatine run down to nothing overnight and then gas up for the next day)
One downside of getting built: with the muscles more strongly aligning the body in place less pressure is born by the synovial fluid of the joints and you can’t crack them as often or as satisfyingly anymore.
Constantly having to check to confirm that no, I didn’t put my athletic shorts pajamas on backwards, the leg holes just fit tighter cause my thigh muscles have grown.

Oh you know what, I bet some of why it’s been so slow going down creatine scoops lately is since I started maul smashing I’ve had such an energy hit for muscle building and baseline use of the new stuff it’s taking up most of the energy budget the recovery of aerobic generation was giving back.
Which means that if I calculate it out there’s a chance I’ll end up past “Slim” and into the “Thin” state, but with really built muscles, which is about where Hollywood leading men are these days.

Like, and I’m not even doing leg day. I guess some of my topsoil pitching uses the legs as a base to dig from, but really part of the testosterone-mediated super-growth is that everyday muscle use that would normally just be enough to stave off atrophy yields gains.
