The closest I could find there was Ludwig von Bertalanffy, who possibly had catholic parents at one point and also worked in Canada for part of his life, but wasn't from there. I tried all sorts of advanced settings google searches and searching on various websites and Wikipedia for like 10+ minutes, could you tell me who you were referring to, by name preferably.
