omfg, I used to be an autoandrophile ftm before I finally fucking admitted to myself that it was just a sexual obsession that was literally based in the fact that I was a heterosexual woman. as in, that's how my brain was wired.

I took testosterone for two years and it actually made me repulsed by guys because they were "similar" to me, now, and girls were "different" so I felt like I was attracted to them..... but I didn't have the "equipment", so it was like, "I have no mouth, but I must scream". It made the uncanny valley effect so much worse.

I hate how some of tumblr's lgbt communities place political value upon what is a personal choice. Some people say that, "auto(gyne/andro)philia is NOT real, it's made up by bigots who hate lesbians and gay people! They don't want you to transition into being gay!", ignoring that if you have heterosexuality hardwired into your brain, you may not end up "gay" at all! LOL!
