Like not like music for trashy people or bad music, like “dance” mixes radio stations played from Philly clubs on Friday nights which were both, it’s just trashy dance music.

“Didn’t you listen to happy hardcore?” Yes, that’s cheesy dance music.

Apprently there’s a whole industry of people taking basic Casio-demo beats and adding some wah-wah vocals and guitar-lesson-sample riffs, putting them into five-minute “tracks”, and packaging those into albums that they then sell to aspiring DJs who want the air of success that a large back catalog implies.

And I guess you’ve found the audience for that stuff.

Nah, maybe I’m not making myself clear, he plays like some Italian internet radio from Italy, which makes you realize that no it’s not a NY/NJ guido thing, trashy dance music is Italian heritage.
