Serious question:

I see this style in other places and every time I don’t know how to interpret it. Are you subtly telling me to go away? (“That’s it. I’ll only disappear now if you pay me” – as opposed to the other way around?)

Because otherwise it seems like the kind of thing that more often comes across as an “excellent” pun than as anything else.
