Some back of the envelope math here assuming my daily natural production of creatine is equivalent to 2 scoops, and assuming my need for supplementation decreases at a steady linear rate, then this period where I was taking 5 (+2 natural = 7 used overall) saw a weight loss that will be equaled by the periods I am taking 4 plus the one somewhat after I’ve stopped supplementing where my daily demands still use some (6 + 1), the period I’m taking 3 plus the one immediately after going to 0 (5 + 2) AND the one I’m taking 2 plus the one I’m taking 1 (4 + 3).

This implies that if no further “echoes” strengthen the drain any, there is about 3 times the weight loss remaining as I have seen at this level.

My mental model ranks states of… fatness as

  • Obese
  • Fat
  • Overweight
  • Average
  • Slim
  • Thin
  • Emaciated

, dividing all but the end caps further into “the [N+1] side of N”, “plain N”, “the [N-1] side of N”.

When the aerobic energy issue first struck and I started replacing with anaerobic from creatine, I was at “plain fat” or even “the obese side of fat”. I am now at “the fat side of overweight”, and expect to hit “plain overweight” by the end of the month. By the time this resolves I expect to be somewhere between “plain average” and “the average side of slim”.
