Even if she’s broadly senile and specifically out under treatment, stalling committees on which she sits (like judge-confirming Judiciary), the reason there’s no chance the Democratic Party will push Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) to resign is that Governor Gavin Newsom would have to choose a replacement and thus show favoritism ahead of the California Democratic Party’s apocalypse war to replace her. The selection would be a big ol’ “to the fairest” golden apple.
