Had a pull-up bar I could do pull-ups on, at least the pegs, before the nerve stuff hit, but while it was on it was comically like “no, buddy” and recovered, even as yard work developed other muscles not those ones apparently. So recently I’ve been not even to the point of hanging from it, just isometrically bearing some of my weight on it.
And that was how I first developed the ability to do it! After like 4 months of using it every time I stood up from my laptop, now I’ve had like 3 sessions and I’m seeing progress.
Like, “exercise will make you stronger and your muscles larger” is like the opposite of a life hack, but with the testosterone like this it’s such an immediate feedback process it’s unreal.
It absolutely feels like I’m playing with cheats enabled lately.
