Starting to appreciate my parents not clueing me in re: my inheritance until later, it honestly did imbue me with what they’re talmbout “a sense of what a dollar is worth”, now (at least post-personality change with the anxiety gone) I can spend respectable amounts and get genuinely quality stuff in return but I’ll see stuff I could afford and does appeal but be like “no, that’s ridiculous”
