That said I can definitely see that as being a major fault line within any identitarian Greater Cascadia, the Valley/SF/Seattle tech axis standing firm for “local culture” against meddling outsiders as an appeal to unity while their postindustrial/3-d printing economy undermines the Portland/Tacoma/sticks artisan skilled/semiskilled labor economy.

I guess a wildcard is the Intoxicant Farming economy of hops, wheat, grapes, and bud that would be a big cash crop export-driver with processing (into wine, beer, butane hash oil) adding value with artisan jobs
