Thinking about how “fashion” was marked as a gay male thing. I can get why they’d have particular insight into how to make a man’s body look good but why women? Was it because they didn’t? Because gay men given a woman’s body to work with would treat it as a sculpture where straight guys were just like “moar tits”?
