This is the underappreciated issue of gay rights activism. To the extent that being queer becomes normalized, the queer community as subculture will provide less value to young queer people coming of age. Additionally, when your stuff gets normalized, it means a bunch of Mormons are gonna show up. *that’s meant to be Normies, but Mormons is just such a funny substitution that I’m leaving it.
