There’s a whole world of low budget content out there made solely for the love of art and even if every industry is a capitalist hellscape there will still be people creating art and how lucky are we that we have access to it
If you remember the ‘90s boom of independent cinema what came of that wasn’t a collapse but a catastrophic flourishing, there are still tons of independent and small-market films being released constantly, you don’t notice because at this point the cost of a marketing campaign to make you aware of a movie within its period of release exceeds even the most bloated studio production budgets
