Alright, my chair and ottoman are arriving ambiguously between September and December, and except maybe a side table with a swing-out shelf to use as a TV tray-style eating platform I think that’s the last piece of furniture I’m buying until the renovation – everything else will either be custom built built-ins (a kitchen table and the parlor bookshelves/tokonoma, a desk/shelves in the study) or waiting for them to match to (a new coffee table, seating/pull-out bed in the study).

I guess the one thing I could still go for is a new bedroom dresser, the existing one has a nice look but the drawers aren’t really set up in a useful way and don’t slide for shit. I’d should probably fix my truck and sort through and filter my wardrobe first, though.
