yeah, ppl have just tried to flip grooming from 'intentionally and consistently acclimating someone for abuse' to 'there was an instance of sex or something taboo in something i read or watched or heard and therefore that person who made that thing was trying to force me to do that thing'.
for instance, a really weird thing i've seen begun to happen is that ppl in fandom spaces will accuse others of grooming minors bc they wrote a fic that featured something taboo like noncon or something and a minor complained about seeing it.
i don't get it past ppl wanting to be on a moral high or something.
