So my dad is 82, it is possible but unlikely he lives out the decade, I honestly haven’t trusted him driving for 15 years (amusingly my mother seems to have taken this in stride, as the one I inherited the anxiety from she never trusted him driving)
My mom was in 3rd grade when he graduated college, for as much of a drag she was always the reliable one he dumped off basic life-maintenance duties to and I resented her for accepting, I was just asking her about this one place I remembered as pretty yuppie, she was like “the word ‘yuppie’ didn’t exist then!” and when I pressed her on it she was like “the word was coined [several years prior, before I was born]!” and since I brought that to her attention an hour of radio silence
