So in going for an eye exam, unpacked all the neuro-COVID stuff to an actual medical professional for the first time; he was fascinated, tried some tests, finds that as far as he can tell I’m not totally forming an image from two eye-pictures now either, I’m forming it with one eye at a time yet the other one is focused not exactly in the same place but passing the brain information about the position and velocity (from a 2nd location) of relevant objects and hue and brightness of large areas, which is giving me a richer mental picture anyway
