The LGBTQ+ community is in panic mode right now because it’s AIDS all over again except that this time it does spend by merely touching a toilet seat.
The public health agencies have spent the last few months telling everyone it’s “the queer disease” (Direct quote with word choice stolen from those “queers” themselves)
Facebook groups are full of “second chickenpox” rumors that are totally Monkeypox except that once again we’re not testing anyone who isn’t a gay man.
The kids going back to school in the fall is going to be a nightmare
Much like in the 1980s, there’s an anti-LBGTQ backlash going on
Except that this time since there’s “the groomer panic”, when all the kids get sick, it’s going to be “Those gay pedo schoolteachers” in half the districts in the country….
Meanwhile, the FDA is of course forbidding us from importing vaccines so at least we’ve got that going for us.

So if its symptoms are frequently taken as “second chickenpox” will we all just get it, be unpleasant for a bit, and move on? That’s how I and everyone got first chickenpox before the vaccine, though I heard it’d be worse if I hadn’t been in kindergarten
