In your post on Christofascism I hope Solidarity isn\u2019t referring to the Polish trade union, because you calling them fascists is a classic Creepy Marxist move, particularly when you consider the possibility that many Cold War-era communist states were crypto-fascist regimes and the USSR as a colonialist empire.

They involved Christianity as an organizing force for resistance to revolutionary order, same as in the Vend\u00e9e. In that capacity the Soviets could certainly understand them as “fascist” (and the Soviets had a comprehensible claim to be the official expounders of Marxism)
