Update

We have got to let men be bisexual, it’s getting out of hand.

Who is this man???

Unironically, I don’t know. Some guy with a beard.

Jensen Ackles escaped supernatural and immediately joined up with another CW show called The Boys. I think @triviallytrue has seen it? What’s the scoop?

I’m only a season in and he shows up in season 3. It’s a very good show but it’s hard to watch at times. The basic premise is that the setting has superheroes and they’re all managed by a single corporation, which runs their PR and covers up all the fucked up shit they do. The titular group “the boys” are normal human vigilantes who’ve been fucked over by the superheroes and are trying to get revenge.

It’s very good - great acting, great writing, and it clearly has a lot to say. It’s very cynical and a bit mean, and tws for both gore and sexual violence.

As someone into guys but with taste shaped by a heterosexual background, honestly I can see it

I think the key, ironically, is that that beard gives him the freshness that used to be ascribed to “beardless youth”
