The other problem with \u201cmake bold demands\u201d as a strategy is that it\u2019s one of those strategies that always worked better for right-wing and/or authoritarian political demands than left-wing ones. A decent chunk of the left-wingers trying to adopt right-wing social tactics are the kind that will go right-wing when they either grow old or get accused of being a sex pest.
