I remember when I was having my first motorcycle built (from 3 milk crates of CB350 parts) the mechanic said that motorcycle insurance might be high, especially if you’re young, but it was cheap (maybe even cheaper!) to add a second bike cause with one bike the insurers are like “whooooah, good chance that guy’s some idiot who isn’t ready, gonna be a problem” but they see you own two motorcycles and they’re like “aah, that’s a motorcycle guy”
