New book courtesy of a gift from wonderful Partner M! “Anime Architecture: Endless Worlds and Endless Megacities”:
Its a really cool art book of layouts, backgrounds, and design documents for primarily sci-fi 80’s-90’s anime, as you can see from the list
(Author loved Patlabor i guess!). I havent found a digital copy online so i would like to create one someday, though i wont tear up the book so not the greatest quality one. If anyone wants highlight photos from any of the above let me know (or if an online version exists already), can see a great Akira alley example:
