Okay I don’t understand sheets. Like, the fitted sheet that covers the mattress, I get that one, that one’s fine. But then you get a really super soft amazing blanket for your bed but you put a sheet between it and you? And a comforter on top of it? So you do not feel your soft blanket? Why? What’s the point? No thanks. No sheets, just blanket. Fuck sheets.

because the layer of air between the blankets is as important to warmth retention as the thickness, if not more so. Plus you might need to adjust warmth over time.

I’ve lately been realizing thickness of blanket is not nearly as important to keeping warm as ensuring it drapes over every edge of the mattress to stop drafts
