Thinking about how I actually went to a good deal of live shows in LA and caught the tail end of a great Spaceland indie scene before Daft Punk did that Coachella and everyone sold their guitars and bought turntables. Shame Silversun Pickups and Great Northern and Giant Drag never got to be things.
