So one amusing thing is during the period in adolescence I was identifying as a girl I had long hair such that adults would often identify me as female from completely different circumstances, I got tired of the barber giving me a haircut I didn’t like and stopped getting haircuts.

I mean yeah, a little ~conveeeenient~, that I shaved my legs I now peg to that but in my mind the head hair really was a separate and wholly sufficient reason

After several years I started cutting my own hair and after another decade I was even some good at it
