God, two of my neighbors have this weird fixation with trying to grow trees’ in others’ shadow

IF YOU WANT A PLANT TO TAKE UP SPACE UNDER A PINE TREE LOCALLY NATIVE EVERGREEN FOREST UNDERGROWTH BUSHES TOTALLY EXIST! MANY OF THEM BEAR TASTY FRUITS! WHY ARE YOU PUTTING ANOTHER PINE TREE THERE?
