When I turned bi after being straight for decades I kind of appreciated that it might leave me better able to “translate” between heterosexuals and homosexuals, but in fact the most significant thing there is by having the full spectrum (male- and female-oriented) of male sexuality it makes me appreciate what fujoshi are bringing to their understanding of men that doesn’t come from either, and thus presumably reflects female sexuality
