I always read it as him propositioning the MILF next door, not a teenager.

Alternatively, “Josie”’s the girlfriend of the audience, and he’s trying to get it on with a lesbian.

So you read the “you know I like my girls a little bit older” line as an honest appreciation? I saw it as opening the seduction by marking the relationship as a liminal exception.
