For two its really weird dealing with like, historical memory, like, ‘Nam was still twitching as an issue when I was young, POW-MIA flags and limbless guys and assumed distrust of the government and all, and it’s weird now parsing that a generation further removed, gets me a sense where zoomers are (except I first processed Iraq II/the Sandbox wars through post-Vietnam cynicism and not dashed idealism)
