Hm I guess my real next deadline is spring, I’m getting my electric polesaw tomorrow and I’ll want to trim unwanted branches before spring growth-from-reserves gets channeled into them, and ideally line up the sakura and ume to plant in a month or so. Looking like Blueberry Hill won’t have rotted into dirt enough to do any planting this year, but if I finish laying stones for that retaining wall and muddying them up I can get alpine strawberries from the little nursery nearby that should tie the slope together.
