Just found out J’s public middle school had Home Ec classes???

In our school they were on a one-a-quarter schedule with 7th grade gym, shop class, and Computer I.

Because I was smart and had a Mac at home they decided they should skip me to the 8th grade cycle with Computer II, so I never had it. Computer I/II were mostly typing classes with some “How To Use ClarisWorks” tossed in. I did not know how to touch-type.
