These things are social trends that re-make the landscape and last. Wokeness could be one, like Christianisation of the Roman Empire, Protestantism in Northern Europe or liberalism in Europe and new European societies. All of these demanded either new institutions or capture of existing ones. Woke has captured the universities. Why can’t it endure?
