So whenever I’d do acid there was an afterglow period for like 12 hours afterwards where I could just consider any issue, figure out what needed to be done to resolve it, figure out what to do to make that happen, and say exactly the right thing to get anyone I need to go along, switch to back-up Options B and C on the fly without missing a beat

Anyway, I’ve basically been doing that continuously since early December, last night there was a guy who came tangent to it in what must have seemed like an incredibly fortuitous coincidence that I totally no-sold

It’s like how I was just going to bed early in the morning when Alaska texted to cancel my flight, so I called and rebooked first and got that last slot through San Diego and then that gate agent couldn’t get me a voucher so I just pressed on and got taken out for drinks and the next day got a complete stranger to take me on a great spin around town and suck me off and drop me at the airport where the girl who couldn’t help me last night turns out to unlock a surprise challenge. That shit just happens. For the next few months imagine me with the Mario star music going.
