Frank Zappa I heard enough about to identify as a punchline I might like but not to actually be exposed to; Tool I mostly knew for the sculpted videos, seemed gratuitously turgid to me
Knew some guys in college into A Perfect Circle who might have been Tool fans had the timelines lined up but I didn’t really vibe that way, either
