Lewis, or even that it would be bring about the complete collapse of democracy due to roving bands of criminal youth, as in Heinlein\u2019s Starship Troopers\u2013empirically completely failed to come to pass.
In fact, Heinlein\u2019s prediction is particularly egregious, because it is literally the opposite of what ended up happening.
