"}I think it\u2019s really funny\u2026.that I\u2019ve seen younger internet people say this freaks them out\u2026\u2026\u2026.and that they just see it from \u201cold people\u201d on the internet\u2026\u2026but when I was a teenager online\u2026\u2026.we thought a bunch of ellipses\u2026\u2026.were the way to recreate natural-looking speech through text\u2026\u2026I don\u2019t know why that is\u2026\u2026..but we thought it was what looked friendly and casual\u2026\u2026.like we thought there had to be punctuation to break up the flow of our text\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.but any other kind of sentence punctuation was too abrupt and therefore read as hostile\u2026\u2026\u2026..It\u2019s just an interesting little quirk of internet language evolving that I still think about a lot\u2026\u2026\u2026.
