In 1967 she began carving the words \u201cThe world is your penis\u201d in bas relief into the exterior walls of a warehouse that had been converted into a cultural center in St. Petersburg. Then in the early eighties, she did a similar thing in London with the words \u201cThe earth is the vagina of humanity.\u201d
