Apparently the title “A Christmas Carol” was one of those cigarette-burn memory losses in the last year: I remembered it was a Charles Dickens novella often staged as a play, the one with Ebenezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim and the three Christmas ghosts, and now having had to look it up and learn it afresh, I’m like “Really? That’s what it’s called?”
