at work one time my boss joked about putting a pentagram (protective) on a door and I said \u201cI could do that\u201d slightly more seriously than the conversation previously had been and he said \u201cI know\u201d and an understanding was established. We never talked about it, but it was established.

Once at a meal in college this girl at the table was boasting to another that she was developing real magic skills and as a background character I just unscrewed the salt shaker and poured a circle around my dish, which I guess is kind of adjacent to that situation, that she wasn’t really prepared for people to actually deal with her avowed identity
