Am I the only one who gets accused of being a witch IRL by people who don’t know I actually am? Like not in a bad way but they’ll be like “haha what are you a witch?” or “I swear you’re a witch” and I’m just like

‘ they know’ ‘no they don’t know’ ‘they can’t know’ ‘should I tell them?’ ‘ no I can’t tell them’ ‘but maybe they already know’

at work one time my boss joked about putting a pentagram (protective) on a door and I said “I could do that” slightly more seriously than the conversation previously had been and he said “I know” and an understanding was established. We never talked about it, but it was established.

Once at a meal in college this girl at the table was boasting to another that she was developing real magic skills and as a background character I just unscrewed the salt shaker and poured a circle around my dish, which I guess is kind of adjacent to that situation, that she wasn’t really prepared for people to actually deal with her avowed identity
