ok but look. maybe this is the post that gets me canceled idk. why would i wash my hands after touching somebody’s dick? like i understand if i get anything else on my hands in that process but like, at a base level dick is not dirty? its just skin? like ok maybe theres some amount of sweat and if its significant thats one thing, but like on the other hand if a mildly sweaty person gives me a high five im not gonna wash my hand im just gonna dry it. like.
it is generally recommended of bepenised people that they wash their hands after peeing, because they’ve touched their own dick. surely someone else’s isn’t any cleaner.
(the general argument i’m seeing on this subject is about perianal sweat getting bacteria from faeces to the general crotch area. i’m not sure if this is legit or if it implies that you don’t need to wash your hands after peeing if you didn’t touch your penis (perhaps because you lack one) or other areas near your crotch)
ok but the reason to wash your hands after peeing is that bathrooms are unsanitary and pee itself is unsanitary, so if you’ve been dealing in these things you should sanitize. surely, however, this does not apply in the majority of other contexts for penis touching!
Pee is highly sanitary. You can sanitize things with it – pee on your toes in the shower to kill athlete’s foot bacteria
