Well I’m realizing there is a reason I have such loyalty to the ‘90s-era internet

Well everyone used to (as far as I knew), but that mostly came down to “everyone I knew” then being the 2000s-era internet, which was still dominated by '90s veterans the smartphone wave hadn’t swept out of position yet

By contrast I thought my best friend across the street getting the Genesis, Sega CD, 32X and Philips CD-i was a bit much
