I mean, I could see a lost war against China being the thing that triggered a crackup, and America having some sort of conflict in the next 5-10 years that did not yield the hoped-for result, but that kinda confidence makes me suspect you have some airport novel plot in your head.
How do you picture that scenario playing out such that joining one of those groups would be useful?
