So, I think the culture’s pretty safe now. Probably going to snd up seeing some improvements you couldn’t get by pushing for by having idiots flail around against and discrediting their position.

But I see these things pretty far put, the routing and mopping up will take a while and I’m not in love with the culture’s prospects in the meantime. Honestly I’m treating it as a cognate of the ‘80s.

So to figure where to go from now I’m looking back, what “should” I have got in on in the 80s? The start of brownstone Brooklyn? For me it would probably be Japan stuff but I don’t know I’d be in a place to if it their 80s come-up already happened.

Get in on… Roxy Music? “College rock”? Hardcore punk? Goth? Did anyone but the bands ever get anything from being an 80s goth? I guess Anne Rice.
